Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

After leaving from office, I was walking through the university woods. I switched on my ipod, but didn’t know what to listen. I let the ipod pick up something for me. Ipod’s choice brought a smile on my face; it seemed to know what I exactly needed. It picked up Baz Luhrmann’s song “Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen)” from his album “Something for Everybody”.

I first heard this song, about 10 years back when I was in college. Since then it has been my retreat on days which weren’t exactly what I asked for. It’s words have always been very soothing for me, like drops of first rain on parched earth. I am sharing here this beautiful song with you.

I came across this funny spoof of the original song :).
